How can they sound so good and be so inexpensive?

Formerly in the heart of Music Row, Allisongs now has 2 project studios throughout downtown and east Nashville.  Allisongs is the very studio where Billy Ray Cyrus was discovered and Grand Ole Opry legend Del Reeves  recorded his recent greatest hits album.  Allisongs is primarily a publishing company so we do not have to charge outrageous prices to give you an amazing sound.  Unlike others, we do not get a band to come in, slap on a number chart, and record your song in 5 minutes.  Why end up with a demo that sounds like everyone else's?  We do the tracks, each instrument, one at a time for optimal tightness and sound.  We do not charge by the hour and we do not watch the clock. 

I'm a songwriter outside of Nashville, how can I use Allisongs?
You no longer need to live in Nashville to get that Nashville   

sound.  Now it is just as easy as if you were living within the Music City limits. We specialize in professional mail order demos. This is a service created especially for those songwriters who need that radio-ready Nashville sound but are too far away to achieve it locally. The process is amazingly simple and we structure it so that you end up with exactly what you want!

Who are the musicians on my demo?
Buddy Jewel and Linda Davis were both demo singers for Allisongs. Now they are world famous stars.  We have everyone from Hank Williams Jr. and Kid Rock's steel guitar player to Loretta Lynn's star back up singer. Want that rockin' sound? Then we use members of one of Nashville's most popular rock bands!  We have professional  musicians who can play any genre of music.

What's the price and what's included?
The current price for 1-4 songs is $649 per song. You get the sound that others charge you more than $1000 per song for and they more than likely have not produced & published hits  that went on to be #1 recordings on the Billboard charts! Included studio musicians are: Drums, bass, rhythm guitars, lead guitars, pianos, strings, acoustic guitars, organ, and percussive additions. The $649 per song also includes vocals, harmonies, all production, mixing, mastering, and digitizing to a CD.  It also includes shipment back to you.  

Do they get cheaper, the more I do?
       Yes!  
1-4 songs = $649 per song.
5-7 songs = $629 per song.
8-10 or more songs = only $599 per song.

What if I want a special instrument not listed?
If you need special instruments (such as harp, harmonica, fiddle, steel, etc.), it is $150 per song.

I don't want to sing on it, I  need a pro-vocalist
If you need a male or female vocalist to sing your demo, it is $75 per song. This includes multiple harmonies from the vocalist as well as the lead vocal track. Just tell us "I'm looking for that Shania Twain sounding girl" or "that George
Strait male vocal", and we'll get you the vocal sound you desire.

What format studio do you use?
We combine 24 tracks of RADAR II with a synchronized 8 additional tracks of 20-bit ADAT to give  you 32 tracks of better than CD quality.

How do I get started? - (Songwriter's Demos)
All you do is send your worktape, 2 copies of the lyrics,  production notes and payment to Allisongs. Just contact Stephanie via email at stephanie@allisongs.com or you can call her personally at  615-943-0995. If you do email, please include a phone number we can reach you at.  Stephanie will give you the address to send your packages to.

What do I need to send you?
Worktape should be a vocal accompanied by at least one musician. And, don't worry - the worktape is supposed to be rough! Production notes can be anything from "I'd like a Brooks and Dunn feel production with a Toby Keith vocalist sound", etc..  this gets us right in line with what you're
wanting the outcome to sound like. The turnaround rate is currently 3-4 weeks.

I'm a singer, but have no original songs! Help!
It is widely known that record labels are not interested in being pitched songs where people are singing the latest Martina McBride song (or whomever the latest hit is by!). If you are a singer who finds yourself singing cover songs and you don't have your own originals, Allisongs has ownership of a catalog of original songs written by some of Nashville's chart topping writers. These are songs never used by major label artists and are available for you to use, to sing, to put on your own album, and to promote your vocal talents with a brand new potential hit behind you! This is an amazing service for singers because you are purchasing rights to use the song and the studio time for you to record your vocals in our studio is included in the price!
