Allisongs was formed in 1985. Since
our inception, we've had a #1 with Reba McEntire, a top 10 with LeAnn Rimes,
did the developmental work on Billy Ray Cyrus and we engineered Gretchen Wilson's television
special.
In 1985, Capitol Records release what was to be Jim's first
chart single by country singer Con Hurley. Our credits include a #1 song with Reba McEntire
as well as LeAnn Rimes and a list of others. Country star Linda Davis was the
demo singer for Allisongs. Billy Ray Cyrus recorded his early demos and was founded
at Allisongs. We've had songs recorded by Razzy Bailey, Sonny Burgis, Earl Thomas
Conley, Linda Davis, The Ellis Brothers, Farmer's Daughter
(Canada), Mikey Gilley, The Hager Twins, Brenda Lee, Susan McCann (Ireland), Bill
Medley, Jimmy C. Newman, Wayne Newton, LeAnn Rimes, Connie Smith, B.J. Thomas and Jett
Williams, (daughter of country music legend Hank Williams), as
well as the 1994 hit, "Cowboys Don't Cry", by Daron Norwood, and the #1 hit, "What Am I
Gonna Do About You", as performed by Reba McEntire. In addition, Jim Allison's
song, "Nobody Loves Me Like The Blues", was the winner
of the Billboard Song Contest in 1992.
Most recently, Allisongs has recorded
a "Greatest Hits" album for the legendary Grand Ole Opry star, Del Reeves,
mixed and mastered Gretchen Wilson's live GAC television special and had Linda Davis
in the studio recording vocals for her brand new album, "I Have Arrived".
Jim Allison is also the author of, "1001 Song Ideas", Volumes 1 and 2. He wanted to
share with you, the hit songwriters of tomorrow 2000 ideas and song titles that are yours to use. Write them well and we'll be seeing
you in the charts. You can order both of these books by emailing
